Raspberry Pi 5 merupakan single board versi terbaru dari Raspberry Pi Foundation. Raspberry Pi 5 ini diklaim memiliki kemampuan komputasi 2-3x lipat lebih baik dibandingkan dengan Raspberry Pi 4 Model B.

Raspberry Pi 5 dilengkapi dengan CPU ARM Cortex-A76 2.4GHz (16nm SoC) serta GPU VideoCore VII 800MHz, Raspberry Pi 5 bisa menjadi pilihan yang lebih baik untuk proyek yang membutuhkan pemosesan berkecepatan tinggi seperti program AI (Artificial Intelligence) maupun rendering grafis. Raspberry Pi 5 ini mangakomodasi RAM LPDDR4X-4267 8GB, bahkan sudah terdapat indikator kapasitas RAM pada board.

Raspberry Pi 5 dilengkapi dengan port-port tambahan yang tidak dimiliki pada Raspberry Pi 4, yaitu port UART debug, Real-time clock, dan PCI. Port PCI dapat digunakan untuk menghubungkan Raspberry Pi 5 dengan peripheral eksternal seperti SSD M.2 yang dapat digunakan untuk data transfer maupun untuk keperluan booting. Port USB 3.0 pada Raspberry Pi 5 ini juga mendukung transfer data 5Gbps secara bersamaan sehingga dapat digunakan untuk USB fast drive maupun SSD berkecepatan tinggi secara bersamaan.
